STARS High School has a Day Treatment Intensive Program

Two classrooms have an integrated Day Treatment Intensive (DTI) program. The third classroom does not include DTI but group and individual counseling services are available as Designated Instructional Services (DIS). Students are placed in either classroom based on their needs.

In addition to education, students placed in the integrated NPS/DTI program receive the following mental health services:

• Group Therapy: Students participate in Skill Building, Psychotherapy, and Adjunctive groups, as well as Community Meetings



• Individual Therapy: Students receive individual therapy at least once weekly



• Family Therapy: Students and their parents are invited to participate in family therapy



• Collateral Contacts: DTI clinicians maintain regular contact with students' support persons



• Medication Support: If indicated, students are offered the services of our on-site psychiatrist
