Enriched Classroom Meets Student Needs
At STARS High School, our Enriched Classroom offers another option for students who do not qualify for DTI and have a different level of needs.
In addition to the educational services, the Enriched Classroom offers Designated Instructional Services (DIS) by a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS)
Credentialed School Counselor.
What does this all mean? While supporting the students academically, a PPS Counselor provides the following services:
- Group Counseling is offered daily
- Individual Counseling is offered at least once per week
- Vocational and Educational Counseling are offered throughout the school year by both the PPS Counselor and presenters from various
education providers, educational and vocational resource organizations, and businesses from throughout the community
To make a referral, please refer to our
referral procedure.
STARS High School has consistently held a clear, un-conditional (no corrective actions pending) certification with the CDE
(California Department of Education).
