| Description | TITLE: Clinical Data Coordinator
The Clinical Data Coordinator will be the local agency project lead responsible for operating an integrated data entry, database, and automated reporting system focused on an array of fidelity and outcome measurements and indicators required to meet contractual obligations for Wraparound and outpatient mental health services and related business reporting needs.
Education and Experience
*BA in a health or social science and knowledge of mental health field required
OR
M.A. in public health administration and/or information technologies, or related fields, preferred
*2 years of experience with mental health care databases and report building, including quality controls, data grooming and validation procedures; and, training/supporting novice staff in the process of accessing and using electronic reports
*Valid California driver's license and proof of current insurance

*Familiarity with Crystal Reports™, SQL™, Evolve EMR™, SPSS™ and/or capacity to master these and other languages and/or software products quickly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Principal responsibility for assembling, proofing, and preparing for analyses a wide variety of data-base (DB) extracts, queries and reports related to organizational departments that support service operations (e.g., Clinical, Research, Human Resources, Finance).
*Assistance to the RPP Dept. Director regarding business analytic project plans, including their development and implementation, in collaboration with both external consultants and SBHG program leadership. This includes creating and/or tailoring forms and dashboard templates.
*Identify data issues and programming needs. This includes collaborating with a computer programmer to identify problems and improvements for refining and streamlining data exports and exchanges.
*Develop user guides/manuals and train/support users to assure accurate and consistent data entry, manipulation, and interpretations.
*Carry out routine data grooming and validation, including checking, recoding and/or merging of data for ad hoc reports and electronic data exchanges.
*Become a master user of the company EMR and BI system as needed to understand production cycles, use of dashboards, and to carry out report-writing (for example, to know which parameters to select to get the data needed for a particular report).
*Contribute to the continuous quality improvement efforts of the agency.
