Testimonials

Juan, a Central Star CRT Resident
Central Star TAY FSP Client

The CRT program had given me all the tools I needed to get my life together, and also showed me how to use them.

Juan, a Central Star CRT Resident

“The TAY program helped me go to school and work. The team did not give up on me. They motivated me to keep going. The team taught me a lot of coping skills. Now I’m sober, I have my own apartment, a family, a job, and I’m getting married in two months.”

Client Success Story

“If we didn’t have the wrap program in our lives, my daughter and I would not have the relationship we have today. I learned to communicate, listen and be more open and understanding to her needs. My daughter has also changed for the better. We do more mother and daughter activities like watching movies and relaxing next to each other. I feel that this day in my life, I am in a better position to succeed.”
–Maria, Central Star TEAMMATES Wraparound

CRT Success Stories

“The CRU is a positive safe haven. It is welcoming, I love to call it my home. Maile’s office is relaxing she is open, nonjudgmental and positive and helps others and does things for people when they can’t do it themselves. She’s taught me to turn my weakness into strength.”

“Most beneficial thing is that the CRU has given me a safe place to spend more concentrated time with difficult feelings of trauma that I couldn’t process outside of these walls. Having a regular clinician available and people on the floor to talk to less formally has been helpful.”

"The groups were especially great here. I learned a lot. I met a lot of diverse people and was made to feel safe, welcome, and like I mattered by both staff and the other clients during my stay. I really am taking away a lot from this program. Thank you for the groups, and your support."
