In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are transitioning to telehealth services over the phone or video for some services. It is best for clients to connect with their direct team member (case manager, therapist, facilitator) at their specific program or site. See below for contact info. We are still accepting new referrals as well.
Community centers geared to provide support and foster independence
Resource Centers are comfortable places where those in the community can gather to take advantage of resources, learn new things, and receive help for everything from career guidance to homework assistance. Stars has three different resource centers:

Valley Star’s Family Resource Center (FRC)
Serves people of all ages from its San Bernardino location, offering parent support groups, young adult career assistance, a kid’s club with homework help, brief counseling, and wellness activities for seniors and Veterans. More…

Star View’s TAY Hot Spot in Carson (in LA County)
For young people ages15-25 who need a nurturing environment that supports them. This center for Transition Age Youth (TAY) offers vocational and educational support, independent living skills workshops, art, music, cooking classes and more. More…

The One Stop TAY Center
A program for Transition Age Youth (TAY) ages 16-25 in Yucca Valley in the East Desert region. Modeled after a drop-in center, it is a place where young people can receive support services to aid in their own recovery and to develop independent living skills. More…
